Southern Berkshire Ambulance Service is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit tax exempt organization.

All contributions are fully tax-deductible.

Southern Berkshire County Ambulance is not fully funded by our towns or by insurance reimbursements. Each year we struggle to keep our doors open and maintain the staffing and equipment needed to operate. It is only through the generosity of friends like you that we are able to continue to provide our services and be ready to take the call of anyone in need. It is not an exaggeration to say we could not continue without your support.

Southern Berkshire Ambulance Service is committed to providing the highest level of Advanced Life Support emergency medical care to our communities. We are Paramedics and EMT's who have provided emergency services to our Berkshire neighbors for over 50 years.

Continued support from the communities we serve is the foundation for our success. Emergency care information, education and training, and cooperation with other healthcare partners, like Fairview Hospital, enhance our ability to serve.


It costs money to provide the degree of service and life saving medicine Southern Berkshire Ambulance offers our communities . The cost of procurement and maintaining ambulance units and medical equipment is costly, in addition to educating our providers, maintaining a state of readiness, and the overall cost of operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is attained through the generosity of the citizens in the communities we serve.
